Craig Claybrook – Writer and Editor

     Mr. Claybrook has worked as a freelance writer and editor since 1995. He has had a hand in the publication of seven books to date. He loves to work on book projects with a compelling message. Depending on the subject matter, he may be able to assist you with your writing and editing needs.  

     In ghostwriting his first book, he formulated a series of questions, placed a microphone in front of the couple, and did lots of transcribing. With advances in technology, people can buy software and speak into their computer. The words appear on the screen. This speeds up the process tremendously and often makes ghostwriting a book more affordable.

     Most of his experience is in the area of editing. Writers tend to make certain types of mistakes, which are addressed in the out-of-print book Twenty-nine Common Mistakes Writers Make. (At least one author claims this is the best book ever written on the subject of writing and editing.) A correct writing style helps readers to keep turning the page—the goal of every writer and editor.
