Craig Claybrook – Preacher
Mr.Claybrook seeks opportunities to deliver Sunday morning messages and First Person Narrative Sermons in a variety of settings. On occasion, he has filled in for other ministers. He may be available to preach on a fill-in basis—short term or long term.
Sample sermons:
- Going for the Gold—Hebrews 12:1-2 (the first in a 5-part series on Hebrews 12, which serves as the culmination of the book of Hebrews and includes a memorized presentation of Hebrews 12:1-29)
- David's Classic Prayer of Repentance—Psalm 51 (including Psalm 51:1-19 in memorized form)
- Mankind's War Against God—Psalm 2 (with Psalm 2:1-12 memorized)
A First Person Narrative Sermon is where the speaker assumes the role of a biblical character by dressing in costume and delivering a message from that perspective. This typically requires a sizeable amount of work, including the memorization of about six pages of script.

- The Centurion at the Cross: A Soldier’s Perspective on the Death of Jesus
- The Story of Hosea: A Picture of God’s Dealings with His Wayward People
- The Shepherd: A Panoramic View of Christ from Birth to Resurrection
PLEASE NOTE: Six weeks advance notice is needed for First Person Narrative Sermons. Two to three weeks notice is needed for traditional style sermons, as minister strives to do everything by memory.
