Meeting with your prospective minister:
Most couples desire to meet with Mr. Claybrook informally and he is always happy to meet with future brides and grooms over a cup of coffee. You will have an opportunity to get acquainted and to select the ceremony that works best for you. Mr. Claybrook prefers to schedule appointments with couples who have read the Comments Page at www.craigclaybrook.com/testimonials.shtml.
Scheduling is the biggest challenge of a wedding minister:
In the thick of wedding season, Mr. Claybrook
typically turns away more couples than he
can handle due to scheduling conflicts. He
has had as many as five couples inquire about
the same timeslot. Timeliness in scheduling
rehearsals is critical.
Notifying him of later changes is absolutely
critical. Untimely schedule changes can create
all kinds of problems, which may include
looking or another minister at the last minute.
Helpful information on pricing:
Weddings in the Dallas area range from $100 to $550. Mr. Claybrook’s services do not include a finder's fee. Fees do include a 4-year seminary degree, eleven years of wedding experience, fun rehearsals, 3-4 hours of preparation, administration and promotion, and an effective and passionate delivery.
Pick your fee:
- $250 base fee* - Ceremony only
- $325 base fee* - Ceremony and Rehearsal
*Some
locations require an additional fee to cover travel time
and expense
Other financial details:
- A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to secure date(s) and time(s)
- The remaining balance is due at the rehearsal but most couples prefer to pay along the way
Suggestions for planning a successful wedding and honeymoon:
- Bring your license to the rehearsal so you will have less to worry about later.
- If traveling out of the country, be aware of complications associated with maiden name versus married name on legal documents.
- If you need honeymoon discounts in foreign destinations, insurance coverage, or serve in the military, then bring a copy of your license (front and back) for minister to sign.
